Collier Child Care Resources (CCCR) was one of two charities chosen to receive the proceeds raised from First Florida Integrity Bank’s 8th annual Charity Golf Tournament, held at Hideout Golf Club in December. The total raised was $110,000,of which CCCR received $55,000. New Horizons of SWFL were the recipients of the other half. On February 6, 2017, Niccole Howard, Executive Director of CCCR accepted the check on behalf of CCCR.
“We are very grateful for this generous donation and say thank you to First Florida Integrity Bank and all who participated in the golf tournament. Of the approximately 300 children served in our programs, many come from working families who cannot afford the cost of a high quality early childhood education; so, we provide partial tuition assistance for about 75 percent of these families. This donation will have an immediate impact upon the families and ensure that our children can continue to receive the education they deserve so they will be ready to enter kindergarten, well-prepared, and from that point on, have a better chance at academic success and a brighter future.”
CEO-President Garrett Richter said, in a statement from First Florida Integrity Bank, “We are delighted with the success of this year’s tournament. The resounding results would not have been possible if not for the hard work and dedication of our bank employees. The members of our banking family worked tirelessly to secure sponsorships, raffle prizes and golfers to help raise money for these two wonderful charities. We are also so grateful to individuals which supported and participated in our tournament. The impact and contribution of so many will make a much needed difference to both of these causes.”
