CCCR’s Child’s Path is currently caring for the children of essential workers and providing partial scholarship assistance based upon their financial need. More incredibly, CCCR has partnered with the Early Learning Coalition to provide FREE childcare for First Responders and Essential Health Care Workers for the next several months.
Child’s Path is open from 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday- Friday. CCCR strives to be there for our families by providing childcare to parents who need it in order to keep working at essential businesses, while maintaining the safety of children and staff. We are following CDC guidelines at Child’s Path. For example, we are ensuring that children admitted for care:
- do not have temperature
- have not traveled outside of the country or domestically
- have not been in contact with anyone who is ill
- have not been in a group of 10 or more people
Additionally, we are capping classroom capacities at 10 persons per room, per CDC guidelines and maintaining continuous hand-washing procedures along with sanitizing frequently contacted surfaces routinely.
We re-opened Little Wonders on Monday, May 18th, to care for children whose parents are returning to work. In accordance with CDC recommendations, we can only take 9 children in one classroom and, therefore, have minimal enrollment availability. We are following strict health and safety guidelines including daily health checks, temperature checks and a health questionnaire.
Additionally, all staff are wearing masks and engage in ongoing hand-washing and sanitizing of frequently touched surfaces. We have also removed all soft surface items from classrooms to ensure proper on-going cleaning (no carpets, stuffed animals, etc.).
While our “A Step Up Programs”, located in Immokalee and Golden Gate High Schools are closed along with the Collier County Public Schools until May 1st , we feel it is vitally important to still offer care for children whose families are essential workers still working in the Naples area.
