Decades of research show that without high quality early education, one out of every three economically disadvantaged children will start kindergarten a 1 1/2 years behind. Once they start kindergarten it is hard for that child to catch up.
Your donation directly provides tuition assistance for a Collier County child, ages 6 weeks to five, to receive high quality early education and child care. The children you help come from low-income working families that can not otherwise afford child care, let alone the high quality early education they need.
As we reflect on the past year, we want to thank our supporters for helping us accomplish a lot of great things! These include:
- Opening two new Child Development Centers, Little Wonders and Child’s Path
- Providing partial tuition assistance for 225 economically-disadvantaged youth (75% of CCCR children)
- Over the summer we opened two new 1-2 year old classes to meet greater need in Collier
- Graduated 68 children from VPK (total from all four centers).
Be a part of a child’s life, and give them the best chance of a bright, happy future.
