Participants in this four-hour workshop will learn how to interpret children’s challenging behaviors and acquire effective behavior management strategies. They will also gain an understanding of how to organize and manage the learning environment and how to design lessons to enhance a child’s overall engagement.
Niccole Howard, Executive Director of CCCR said, “There are many types of challenging behavior that may seem confusing, inappropriate or even frightening. It is important to try to understand these behaviors as forms of communication and discover their possible reasons and how to address them in a positive way. These tools can make a huge difference in children’s lives and help prevent future occurrences.”
