Congratulations to our Board Member, Robin Clark, for being named “Distinguished Volunteer” at the AFP National Philanthropy Awards Ceremony! We nominated her because of the many hours she dedicates to our mission to help underserved local children.
Clark donates her time and her expertise from a successful career in fundraising and marketing. Most notably, she served as Advisor to the President and Vice President, Office of Communications, at The Scripps Research Institute for 22 years. The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California is the largest private, non-profit biomedical research institute in the United States. We are so fortunate to have Robin by our side! Her knowledge benefits the at-risk young children that receive scholarships to attend one of CCCR’s early education centers.
“I am so honored to be recognized by CCCR and the Association of Fundraising Professionals,” says Robin. “I can’t think of an organization that is more worthy of support than CCCR. Early childhood education lays the groundwork and foundation for a successful future.”
The AFP hosts the National Philanthropy Day Award Ceremony to honor the most outstanding philanthropic members in Collier and Lee County. An Outstanding Philanthropist was honored and an additional fourteen volunteers were recognized at the event.
“We are so grateful that Robin shares her wealth of experience in marketing and development with us. She is a selfless person that is dedicated to making the world a better place.”
